The D Cay Group/DK Architects is a diversified design/build firm with a rich history of excellent service dating back to the establishment of dk architects/planners, inc. in 1961. D Cay Group/DK Architects moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1978 and has since expanded into a full service design/build firm with the addition of our State Licensed General Contractor firm in 1992.

Thomas H. DiGiorgio, Jr.serves as President and Managing Member of both the licensed architectural and general construction firms. DiGiorgio has 21 years experience in the Architectural, Construction and Development Industries specializing in hospitality design. He has designed and/or built over 600 restaurants nationally. His full commitment to providing superior service to his clients has helped make him a powerhouse in the development of commercial and residential real estate projects. He brings both a technical and practical expertise to the team. Mr. DiGiorgio, Jr., has extensive experience in Public/ Private Partnerships both professionally and philanthropically. Mr. DiGiorgio is currently the Chair of the Pompano Beach Economic Development Committee and Director of the “Research for the Cure, Cancer Foundation. Mr. DiGiorgio is well versed in the requirements and skill sets needed to make Public / Private partnerships work having collaborated in the conceptual, development, construction and marketing of various projects throughout the United States.
Edward C.A. Dougherty, Managing Member of D Cay Group LLC, joined dk architects/planners, inc. in 1989 and has since been a viable member of both the architectural and construction teams. Mr. Dougherty is an articulate, highly organized and result-oriented Licensed General Contractor and Manager with a proven record of innovative leadership, successful problem-solving, to which he continually exceeds normal goals and objectives to keep D Cay Group’s various projects on track on time and within budget. Mr. Dougherty brings a wealth of project management experience having delivered over 2500 units both residential and commercial.

Andre Capi has been with the firm since 1989. Mr. Capi received his Masters Degree at the Tulane School of Architecture, New Orleans, LA.
